Part 1 of the “6 Ways to Overcome Obstacles and Write High-Quality Articles in Large Quantities” video series.
Gary’s back! And this time he’s here to help you discover six different ways of removing the obstacles that may be keeping you from finding that perfect balance between quantity and quality in your article writing and marketing efforts.
In this first episode, Gary shares the positive results he achieved when he refined his niche, focused his efforts and clarified his brand.
Discover just how easy it is to give your articles a professional, easy-to-read appearance and enhanced functionality using HTML tags.
In an ideal world, our articles would be appreciated on the merits of their content alone. Readers would be so anxious to read what we have to say, and so enthralled by how we say it, that we’d never have to “dress up” our work simply to ensure it gets read in the first place. Every word of every sentence would transfer to the reader with crystal clarity and there would never be a need to click away blindly in search of pertinent information.
Unfortunately, article writing and marketing is not an ideal world. In this less-than-ideal world, the harsh reality is that you have only seconds to make a good initial impression and a few minutes (at best) to maintain the reader’s interest. At the same time, you need to avoid any hint of confusion or ambiguity that might cause them to scamper off to the next URL.
Fortunately for us, and our readers, there’s a way to make this harsh reality a little less … um, harsh. The key is HTML tags.
In the following video, I’m going to help you understand not only how to add HTML tags to improve the appearance, clarity and functionality of your article, but also why things like bold, italics, lists and links are so vitally important to the overall success of your articles.
7 tips for changing your mindset and becoming an article writing machine.
In a recent video, I talked about how to write more articles in less time using article sets. One key component of the article set strategy is to leverage the power of “The Zone” – that hyper-productive state of mind we all occasionally experience – to write multiple articles in a single writing session.
The downside of this strategy, however, is that you have to be in “The Zone” to take advantage of it. Wouldn’t it be great if you could put yourself into that state of mind more often … ideally every time you sit down to write? Just think of the incredible boost you’d get in productivity!
That’s what this video is all about – putting yourself in “The Zone” more often. In the video, I’ll share 7 sure-fire tips to help you get into your personal writing zone.
If you missed the original submission deadline, you’re in luck! We’ve decided to give all of you aspiring filmmakers a little more time.
In the last few days, we’ve received several requests from members to give them some additional time to complete their EzineArticles promotional videos. Since we’re not up against any real time constraints on our end, we’ve decided to move the deadline back 1 week to Sunday, March 21st.
Before you dive in, however, make sure you watch the explanatory video and read the PDF Checklist. They both provide important information that you’ll need to know if you want to earn your place in the video spotlight.
5 Key Points to Remember:
We need video of you participating in your hobby and/or business.
Tell us about why you’re using EzineArticles and how it impacts you or your business/organization.
We need to be able to hear you – so get that microphone close and cut the background noise.
Do not make this a hard sales pitch for your business or organization.
Give us some data, like how long you’ve been writing, how many articles you currently have live, etc.
If you’re unclear about what we’re asking for, go check out some of the videos that have already been accepted. There’s a list (with links) at the bottom of the February 26th Blog post. Or you can ask your question by posting a comment here.
Thanks to everyone who has already submitted a video! There are some REALLY good ones – why not invest a little time and make yours one of them?

How to be sure the site you submit your articles to is worth your time, effort and content.
At EzineArticles, we’re not afraid of a little competition. As a matter of fact, we encourage it! We know the only way for you, and all of our members, to truly excel at article writing and marketing is for each of you to consider the competition carefully and use their services when it’s appropriate and beneficial for you.
Unfortunately, in the realm of article marketing services, there is a lot of … um, crap out there. Since it’s in our mutual best interest for you to be successful in your marketing efforts, we wanted to give you the knowledge you’ll need to separate the great online article services from the aforementioned crap.
In this video, I’ll take you through the 9 qualities and features you should look for in identifying a great article marketing system. When you’re done watching, you should be able to recognize a good sign and instantly spot a red flag. The 5 minutes you invest watching now could save you a lot of time, effort and heartache down the road.
I have a confession to make. I now know what it feels like to be ambushed by the camera-toting paparazzi … and I kind of like it.
Recently, the Marketing and Communications team was working on ideas for a brief video to help demonstrate how to use the EzineArticles Blog in generating new article ideas. Unbeknownst to me, they came up with an idea that I would never have agreed to … they ambushed the boss.
My team knows that I spend long stretches of time in the Blog (I actually have a cot set up in the lower-left corner of page 17), so they figured they’d pounce on me and see if I could come up with at least 50 article ideas in only 2 minutes. At first I was a bit suspicious of a camera rolling into my work space, but I’m proud to say that I rose to the challenge admirably. Here’s the result:
