There are many different variables that will determine your ultimate success as an article writer. Here’s a checklist to help you stay on track:

  • Focus on your reader’s needs and wants instead of your own.
  • Deliver your readers great value inside of your articles.
  • Position yourself as the expert in your niche with great tips and content.
  • Make the reading experience a pleasurable one with plenty of white space and spot on grammar.
  • Make sure your title is balanced for key words and readability.
  • Use a well-written author bio that helps to build credibility.
  • Make sure your article library is large enough to make an impact.

Article writing really becomes fun when you have a credible relationship with your audience because they will truly follow your lead and actively listen to what you have to say. What a great position to be in!

This is so true. I find that I gain the trust of my followers the more that I blog, write articles and send them content that empowers them.

You’re right on Shiketa! Article writing is all about sharing valuable information with your readers that empowers them. In the end, that’s what allows you to build trust and credibility with them.

It sounds like you would have done very well as a contestant on Article Writing Query! :)

Thanks for the info and I like your presentation approach. By the way what type to camera are you using to film your video?

Glenn –

The camera we use is a JVC GY-HD200. But of course that’s also combined with a professionally equipped studio, various other pieces of hardware, assorted software and the talent of our internal video folks to generate the final result.

I certainly agree with you there and thanks for the information on the camera…

The rules of quality online content are always the same, no matter what changes in algorithms occur in the big Search Engines.

1) Provide high quality and original content.

2) Put yourself in the readers shoes (their interest first — NOT yours)

3) Only provide useful links to your audience which relates to the content you provided

4) You are done. You start gaining trust from your audience as an authority in the subject

Unfortunately getting to that level requires, above all; patience and practice in your writing skills and style.

By the way the short educational, yet funny video was really crisp and fun to watch.

I’m desperately hoping to see more quality articles and websites online, as there is way too much crap out there.
