Top Posts of 2009

Looking back at the year in review as seen through the eyes of the EzineArticles Blog.

2009 was a year of growth and change for EzineArticles. Nowhere is that more apparent than in the Blog, one of our most important lines of communication with our members. Every Blog post not only informs, educates or entertains, it also opens up a dialogue that allows us to talk to you and you to talk to us about the things that matter most.

The Blog also serves as an indicator of what was important to us, and to you, at any given point in time. Spend a few minutes reading posts and comments, paying special attention to the posting date, and you’ll quickly get a feel for what was on everybody’s “article marketing mind” in the surrounding days.

So with that thought in mind, let’s take a look back at the Top 5 blog posts from last year in a variety of different categories. The posts we picked are evergreen and packed with valuable information that can help you bring your article marketing efforts to an even higher level in 2010.

If we missed a post that you thought should have made the list, tell us about it by leaving a comment below.

In 2010, as always, we’ll be here to help you navigate the often-stormy sea of article marketing and help you drive more highly-qualified traffic to your website while also increasing your exposure and credibility. The Blog is a two-way line of communication, so let us know what we can do to help you make 2010 your greatest year ever!

You suggested in the last webinar to write 1000 new articles to launch a new product. That’s a little overwhelming for most of us who don’t even have a total of 1000 articles on EzineArticles. Please offer any other suggestions when marketing a product using EzineArticles.

Hi Chris!

Congratulations for your successful posts!

My ideas for 2010:

It would be nice if you could show us how to increase our click through rate. You could show us samples of articles that were successful and give us lessons with new tactics, based on their example.

I think that you are giving us a lot of information in our author page, especially thanks to the traffic search terms, but it would be nice if you could show us more traffic secrets.

Thank you!

Oh neat, my interview was in the top 5. Thanks for that spotlight, once again.

The cartoons are a personal fave of mine- I post them on my blog and always get a giggle.

All of these posts are packed with so much great information they are well worth surfing through again whether you caught them the first time around or not.
