Don’t think you have 2 hours to invest in listening to this teleseminar? You may want to think again! It’s packed with great hints, tips and tricks you won’t find anywhere else. Here are just a few …

  1. Listen to Your Market – Give them what they’re asking for by using the EzineArticles Traffic Search Terms.
  2. Cut Longer Articles into Halves or ThirdsSubmit 2 or 3 shorter articles instead of one long article.
  3. If You’re New to Article Marketing – Your first few articles should come from existing content on your blog or website. Repackaging your existing content is not derivative content.
  4. Reduce the Size of Your Resource Box – Don’t include irrelevant websites not related to your core website and don’t give a lot of information about yourself.
  5. Use the Word FREE – Include a link to a free report, or free newsletter – something related to your expertise.
  6. Use Both of Your Allotted Self-Serving Links – One should be your anchor text link (a 1-3 word keyphrase) and the second one should be your full http:// URL.
  7. The Whole Point of Article Marketing – Attract pre-qualified visitors back to your website. Once you’ve done that, it’s up to you to covert that visitor into the results you’re looking for. So if you want to make money writing articles, you need to have a great Landing Page and sell your content.
  8. We’re Not Going to Tell You How to Convert Your Traffic – If you’re going to write before you have a product – the main thing is to have a place where readers can sign up. You can have an email list years before you even have a product. Sites like AWeber.com or ConstantContact.com can help.
  9. Use the EzineArticles Widget to Put Your Articles on Your Site – You can customize this Widget to suit your site and your specific needs.
  10. Own Your Content! – Take pride in your content by putting your name on everything. Use the same name on all topics in the same niche/market. This will not only increase your credibility but also reduce the chance of EzineArticles rejecting the article for suspect content reasons.

If you haven’t already pledged your commitment to the #HAHD Marathon Challenge, do it now by leaving a comment below. Then really solidify your commitment by tweeting your intentions, too (don’t forget the #HAHD) – or click [here] to let us write your tweet for you!

No matter what, keep writing and submitting a steady stream of original, high-quality articles. Quantity, combined with quality, is ultimately the key to your success with article marketing.

Donna Patterson writes:

It’s quite a challenge; but I’m looking forward to filling the dark, gray days of winter with expanding my mind to write 100 articles on love. Now that’s worth doing!

Hi Chris!

This teleseminar was quite long… I had to listen to it while doing other things at the same time…

It was probably helpful for all newbies, but I think that you should also talk about advanced article marketing.

Perhaps next time… I would like to help you with the answers if you’ll let me to. We could give all authors many new and effective ideas.

I haven’t written an article in about a month. Got distracted with the holidays, etc. This challenge seems doable. Count me in!

I have only written a few articles and have been sitting on the fence about whether or not to continue. The teleseminar provided me with plenty of food for thought.

Hadley Finch writes:

Like Donna Patterson, I’ll be writing 100 articles on love, so we’ll be creating a love fest in #HAHD
Here’s a writing tip: When I interview experts for my podcast show, A Lasting Love, I write an article revealing the best love tips from each guest. Repurposing in action!

Thanks for your great information and your mini-interview of me. I believe article marketers should continue to share information and resources, so my students will definitely hear about this teleseminar replay.

Hi Chris,
In my 3rd hahd challenge, I’d like to schedule 100 new articles I write now to be published throughout the year.
As a premium member, I pay for this privilege.
But there’s a penalty for doing so, since you currently
publish the date each article was submitted.
Have you considered removing this penalty by posting the date each article is published, instead of submitted?
