Upgrade Process Improvement
Read on, because we’ve improved how our Basic Level members get to the next level.
Effective immediately, all Basic and Basic+ members will have their account reviewed, without having to make a request, for potential upgrade to Platinum status when they have exhausted their submission credits. Previously, new members had to send in an upgrade request. Not anymore… Instead, the EzineArticles team will automatically review accounts for upgrade when an author has zero article submissions left.
How does the new process work?
Our team checks account statistics daily and we’re alerted of accounts that have zero remaining submissions. Based on the status and quality of the articles submitted, we’ll review the account by the following business day. The potential upgrade decision is based on how well the articles conform to the Editorial Guidelines and the quality of each article. Well-written, high-value articles which are approved the first time are key to achieving a Platinum Upgrade.
In addition, only accounts that do not have any articles in problem status will be considered for a Platinum Upgrade, which grants unlimited submissions. This will result in less down-time and fewer account management details to worry about… which means more time for writing more articles!
What can you do to help?
- Please do not send us an email asking us to review your account for an upgrade. Your account will be automatically reviewed when you have zero remaining submission credits.
- It is recommended that you address all articles in problem status as soon as possible. Please make the necessary changes or contact us via email if you have any questions on resolving outstanding issues.
- Check out these two updated posts on membership upgrades:
This new process is designed to help members achieve Platinum Level status faster and easier – which means faster review times and unlimited submissions.

Nice idea to take away another hurdle in submitting more articles. Is it possible t get from basic to platinum right away or is the next step still basic+?
