We’re only HALF way done? OMG.. I am so relieved! I thought we had to have them all in by June 1. OK.. I was freaking out cause for the last week I have been brain dead. I am over halfway with my articles so not to worry now. Pheew! That was a close one. [Reply] Comment provided May 12, 2009 at 8:56 AM

Hi Chris, I am definitely in too. Thank you for the reminder that there is only 50 days left to 1st of July. I like to read your blog as it is always full of interesting ideas and it motivates me to focus on writing more articles as: More Articles = More Traffic = More Subscribers = More Sales I hope that all the writers will be able to meet the challenge :) Zack [Reply] Comment provided May 12, 2009 at 9:06 AM

I had set this very goal for myself unaware of this ongoing challenge till today. Wasn’t sure I could make it happen. But that awesome video “Facing the Giants” has inspired me. Knowing so many others will be staring down the same giants, I am going to give it my best effort! Thanks for the challenge, Jeff! [Reply] Comment provided May 12, 2009 at 9:08 AM

Kathy, I think that Sean Mize will hit over 1,000 articles in this 100-day challenge, and perhaps also the writer from Hong Kong. It appears I’ll come up short by about 100 and change, but I am seeing a trend in the volume that some writers are producing now. And for authors like Sean Mize even 1,000 article for his team of writers and software program strategy is not much. For me actually writing every word it really is a challenge. It seems there are many different level writers here, many that write such indepth esoteric niches that 1,000 is impossible, but for some it seems like a really worthy challenge that is attainable. This is why I decided to suggest it. [Reply] Comment provided May 12, 2009 at 9:20 PM

King, My personal record is 1,234 articles in one month, my two second bests are 1,111 articles in one month (twice). And I’ve also posted 1,000 articles in one month once also. I wrote an average of 13 articles for two years straight once. I posted I think 20 articles today. I may very well have posted 1,000 articles in this 100-days, we shall see? Dreaming, we yes that is cool, of course I am into winning, that’s why I only have 10 articles in dreaming and 100s of articles on achievement, success, goal setting, motivation, inspiration, team building etc. If you’d like to learn how I do it, I have written about 500 articles total on on article writing and article marketing. I take no prisoners. That cartoon guy is me in costume, but my spear is deadly! [Reply] Comment provided May 13, 2009 at 11:02 PM

Just hit 61 articles for EzineArticles since April 9 or so! I’m gonna do this! I’m also participating in a Hub Pages Challenge to do 100 Hubs in 30 days. I’m rewriting my Ezine articles! Have 12 done so far. 88 to go til June 13! Am I nuts or what? :D [Reply] Comment provided May 15, 2009 at 3:58 PM

To someone new to this, the challenge of writing and submitting 2 articles a day seemed daunting…so I didnt take you up on the challenge when I first read this post!! But, it kept teasing my mind and now I am submitting 2 per day – thankyou for the motivation. [Reply] Comment provided May 19, 2009 at 3:24 PM

I’ll kick it up a notch and definitely join in this event. My staff and I have just noticed this blog entry and it caught my eye. I have well over 180 articles that I’ve have been meaning to get around to submitting and entering into the system, but as always… procrastination has gotten the best of me. Contests like these are great inspiring reasons to get off our laurels and do some work for a change! God knows I needed the encouragement, so thanks for this! =) [Reply] Comment provided May 21, 2009 at 1:58 AM

After reading things a little more closely I can’t believe I even posted that I’d give it a go, I mean 100 articles in 22 days is damn near impossible for a newbie. I don’t even know where I’m going to come up with 100 articles let alone the time to write them! [Reply] Comment provided June 10, 2009 at 1:55 AM

Ruby, I hope you realize that you have three days and a few hours to hit 100. I doubt even Lance could do that! And let’s face it, he’s got this thing down pat! What and when is the next challenge, whatever it is – count me in. I may be a newbie, but I’ll show you guys how to fly!! So Chris, lay it on us. We need a new one! And by the way, no mugs for this one, you don’t want to send them to Canada. Can’t say as I blame you. Canada post is as bad as the U.S.Postal service when it comes to breaking things!! I believe we all need to thank the great Ezine team for approving articles as fast as they have been to meet this challenge. My personal thanks to all of the editors and Chris Knight along with Jeff and friends to thinking of this challenge. The results will benefit all those involved as well as those who chose not to participate. [Reply] Comment provided June 29, 2009 at 2:01 PM
