EzineArticles has reached an incredible milestone: We’re now auto-tweeting for more than 10,000+ of our members!

If you’re not using the auto-tweet feature, you’re missing out on a great opportunity to reach a much broader audience. With auto-tweeting, every article you publish will be tweeted automatically to your followers on Twitter and FaceBook (if you’ve setup that auto-twitter-to-facebook syndication app) without you having to lift a finger.

If you’d like us to auto-tweet for you, go to http://twitter.EzineArticles.com/howto/ and we’ll walk you through the process step-by-step.

Once your articles are being auto-tweeted, you’ll want as many people as possible to see them, right?

Here are 5 proven tips to help you increase your Twitter following:

  1. Follow people who are like you. Typically, when you follow somebody, they’ll follow you in return.
  2. Simply ask people you know to follow you on Twitter! Email invite your email newsletter list/clients/members, etc.
  3. Produce a regular stream of 2-7 high-value tweets during the sweet-spot of the business day.
  4. Re-tweet and reply to tweets that you find valuable and interesting. Engage in the conversation.
  5. Track people with search.twitter.com who engage in conversations or people you just tweeted about & follow them as well. This puts you “in the mix”.

Want to find other expert authors who are on twitter who also write about the same niche topics you do? Use our free EzineArticles/Twitter directory that allows you to login with your Twitter username & password and we’ll help you FOLLOW other EzineArticles expert authors who are just like you! This is hot! Try it for yourself.

The social networking craze is not a fad and is a powerful ally in your article marketing traffic & exposure efforts. Put services like Twitter to work for you today!

John,

I agree that auto-bots suck…but that ain’t what’s happen’n here.

1) Our human members write articles and submit them to us.

2) After two different humans on our team review the article and accept it, we automatically send a tweet on behalf of our member to their twitter profile.

The auto-tweets we do are the exact same that our members were doing manually before we offered this time saving mechanism.

If you wrote a high quality original & unique article, why wouldn’t you tweet about it to share your expertise with your twitter followers?

That is essentially what we do for our members.

Well, so the “auto-tweeting” idea is what triggered my response. I will join, or look into your program and see what’s up.

Thanks,

Are you only allowed one per account or does it require a picture or something? I have one set up for my Trey account but it isnt sending them out.

The auto Tweets are great as you dont have to do it yourself. One less job to do for busy people.

Thanks.

Thaddeus,

It requires that your twitter account has a photo or image uploaded.

I see you have one uploaded:
http://twitter.com/HealYoufirst

But your Trey account does not:
http://twitter.com/TreyOsborne

Upload a photo for your Trey account; within 24 hours, our systems will rescan and look for it again and when it finds it, new articles of yours that get approved from that point on will be tweet’d for you.

Is anyone concerned that if the whole world starts tweetering, that our society will be overloaded with little tid bits of unimportant stuff? Literally de-evolutionizing the once all powerful human mind? Or is that just me observing all this with too strict of a rational eye?

That’s why SEARCH and other tools exist to identify which tweets are important and relevant to you. :)

Anything not *relevant* to you is a “tid bits of unimportant stuff”.

What’s unimportant to you may be important to someone else.

The flip side of this argument is that Twitter helps people who talk too much to get to the point.
