As I hearing impaired person, I want to remind everyone who does audio material for Web consumption that there are many people who would like to have the information in your audio presentations. However, if a person is hearing impaired, they will probably not bother downloading the audio file because so many times they can’t understand what’s being said. Either the audio quality is not good enough or the person speaking does not enunciate well. Another hindrance for hearing impaired is background music competing with the speech. It would be great if audio presentations could have closed caption (which is probably not practical) or a text transcript as alternative. This is not a complaint, just a suggestion.
