63 New Themes Went LiveRate This Post:
This month we made 63 new theme-based EzineArticles logos live throughout the site. Here is a sample few of the new ones that I thought were kinda cool: If there are any logo themes you’ve found that you think should be better, different or no theme at all, let us know. There are still several hundred categories we have not themed up yet.

Gamini, No, it’s STOP SPAM articles or as the category name suggests, “SPAM-BLOCKER” articles. In fact, we REJECT articles that take a “pro spam” position. Have since day one. Kim, All of the Health & Fitness categories have custom themed logo’s up right now. [Reply] Comment provided November 13, 2008 at 3:40 PM

Congrats again! These new themed logos are great. Just this morning I was clicking through some new categories and admiring the logos in addition to the authors and their work. ;-) Thank you for all the added colour, excitement and variety of these category branding logos, Chris and Team. Thanks Christina, I believe that every author at EzineArticles ought to pick five topics that are somewhat foreign to their areas of expertise and thenstudy up on them and work really hard to write an article in a new category. It helps your mind think and it will give you further insight. Look through the categories pick a few, study the subject for a several days, perhaps, week or two, learn something new and then write a couple articles, do it for you! This is a great idea! Many times I see very interesting categories and I think I could write articles for them, but I don’t have time… On the other hand, when you write articles you don’t really explain anything, you only give an idea about certain subject. You give information and guidance only until certain point, because articles are mainly like ads, and this aspect is somehow too empty for my taste. I prefer writing long books full of explanations, than many short articles giving only one idea about certain topic. However, I believe that if an author is able to write articles for many different categories, this is really powerful for their business. There are many related or similar categories that should be tested. We may discover categories where the visitors may read our articles much more than they do when we submit them to our regular categories. When I’ll have time for that, I intend to write many articles for many different categories quite similar in many points, and find out in which ones they have better performance. Christina, I totally hear you on the “time issue” its a big deal for the online article writer. Still, I believe all authors ought to expand their horizons. And to help authors with this time issue, well I spent some time reading all the “Time Management” articles in the category here at EzineArticles . It took me a good week and a half. But I sure learned a lot. Then I bought a few books on the subject at a local bookstore. Now, I am able to remain more productive because of this. And so, I wanted to share what I had learned and wrote about 25 articles on the subject of time management and many on writing more productively in the writing category. I am happy to say that these great logos have helped the EzineArticles Brand and many co-brands, meaning more readers will stay and read many many articles in the category of their choosing. I know this from personal experience, as I myself am reading more articles in specific categories, but also from those who contact me. I agree with your point that putting articles into additional categories drives traffic to your main sight, especially when it is losely related, it triggers folks’ curiosity. These cool logos help us authors and they keep people surfing on this website, meaning your articles draw people to me, and my articles draw people to you. Everyone wins. I think that everyone can write many articles for many similar categories without having to read more and learn about different topics – this is of course recommended if one has enough time… I could write tons of articles with all the knowledge I have… but I don’t have enough time for that, and on the other hand I hate massive production. I like to write very well, without caring for productivity. This is not so good for the internet though, with so much competition in all fields… I found a solution for this problem: since I prefer writing excellent articles without caring for productivity I write many pillar articles (I read this expression in certain blog). These are articles destined to be at the top and remain there for long, because they have precious information and guidance. They don’t seem to have any marketing purpose – they teach and educate so much that they look like a generous gift. [Reply] Comment provided November 14, 2008 at 9:20 PM

The ’sales logo’ is great! But then again, they all have that certain quality of universal recognition about them. The logos will be a valuable asset to readers. I see satisfied customers in the making. Organization and efficency are the keywords for your new logos. Great Going EzineArticles ! Lance, I just read each response to this blog. It is motivating to hear that you write for each category and your purpose for doing that. I immediately thought, ‘He has mastered the tool ‘Dragon Natually Speaking 10.0′. More than likely, you had an article in each category before BlueTooth improved the program. I am impressed. Nice work, Shirley Bass [Reply] Comment provided November 16, 2008 at 9:46 AM

I just had to respond to the person who commented that just because someone writes a lot of articles on a lot of different topics they “must know a lot”. In my opinion this is not the case. It merely means that the article writer has a lot of opinions!! [Reply] Comment provided November 26, 2008 at 12:05 PM

the articles are very good and the language is also good. But, i think there must be an alert of the new upcoming articles on mobile without any fee as most of the time we cant get time to check and further it makes to hectic to read all the articles. As in somehow manner, these articles helps in improving our knowledge I must thanks for them to the whole team. but please kindly try to solve the problem. Yah, I know this is going to sound funny, but I spent an hour going thru each of the categories at EzineArticles and noticed so many new logos, that I had not seen before. All I can say is WOW, that must of taken a boatload of work. I am glad I am not your “Graphic Designer” but whoever that is, GIVE THEM A RAISE, They totally deserve it! Awesome, excellent, I mean this is killer. Everyone needs to check all these out, these logos are very very good! We should vote on them! [Reply] Comment provided December 6, 2008 at 9:40 PM
