Just an Author or an Authority?
As I reflect back on the lessons learned, I don’t think I ever anticipated how valuable this blog would be for us in terms of having an ongoing discussion with our members.
In fact, I still feel excited every time a new blog entry is posted. I’ll be leaving the office after posting a new entry and before I’m a few miles away, I’m already on the iPhone checking for blog comments that need moderation or issues forwarded internally to help a member resolve an issue.
I’m not sure which I enjoy more… the writing of a new blog entry or commenting in the discussion about additional or related issues raised by others.
The AskChristopherKnight.com site receives thousands of user/member questions, statements, arguments and mostly friendly “how can I or do I do ______?” I can’t imagine what it would be like if I had to make up the topic of each blog entry without some kind of market-affirming question being asked that is most likely on the minds of more than just that person.
My hopes for the future of this business blog is to engage additional people from our team to lead discussions about important issues in the article writing & marketing world so that we can keep a higher frequency of relevant posts throughout the year. I’m traveling this week and next week on business… makes it very difficult to keep a consistent flow of new ideas and issues worthy of your attention/discussion.
What would you like to see more of in future blog posts?
We hope that you are never so busy that you are not an active part of the blog. It is rare to have access to the thoughts of a corporate CEO. The access we have to you is one of the best parts of EzineArticles.
As you continue to grow we also hope that you never end up like the black hole called Google.
