I feel like the last guy on the train since I have had my articlesbycharles.com domain name for over two months and just today redirected it to my profile on ezinearticles.com. Now I have even more incentive to get my article count up. Thanks Chris and Jeff for being so generous with your genius.

I love Dan’s idea. I now have http://www.articlesbysam.com but I’m going a step further with this. What the heck a domain name is peanuts in the greater scheme of things.

I was surprised to see my author page come up on Google on My name search.
For a while I’ve had http://www.ArticlesByRacheli.com I never knew how to use it
NOW I Just need to crank many more Articles.
It has to have a value. In time we’ll know how much.

Here’s that newbie butting in again. I’ve been using that technique to get .com domains that I really wanted. Variations to use where appropriate are ‘with’ and ‘with grace,’ meaning doing it gracefully, not the name Grace. A little judgment is required; in some cases you just don’t want the same as someone else has, and I wouldn’t try it well well-known brands unless I wanted to go to court.

Thanks Connie. I changed my redirect to my bio page but the domain masking didn’t put Articles by Patti on the title line, even though that is what I entered when I set up the masking. I noticed that yours doesn’t either. Did you also use domain masking?
