Happy Cinco De Mayo

This is not an American holiday today, but more than 50% of our countries population might argue that it should be.

I was just in the SF/SJ Bay area last week and it seems like this event is a major fiesta celebration with Latino rock bands and plenty of Mexican food dishes to taste test.

For us here in Wisconsin, we’ll enjoy some Margarita’s, Tequila shots, Daiquiris, or Cervezas (beer) with chips & salsa.

I don’t celebrate “Cinco de Mayo”, but I love Mexico…For this reason, I have many articles about Mexico…from “Miss Mexico” to “sports” and “Mexico City”.
For me , Mexico is democracy, Maria Felix(actress), Joaquin Capilla (diver), Dolores del Rio (actress), Rodolfo Neri (American-Mexican astronaut), Mario Moreno Cantinflas (actor), Octavio Paz(writer). I have a great admiration for Frida Kahlo and Hayden Herrera…Certainly, Mexican cuisine is one of the best in the world…such as Thai, Peruvian, Chinese, French and Vietnamese cuisine! VIVA MEXICO!
