Hi Chris,

What should #7 be?

hmmmm.

Are we looking for traffic or sales? Or both?

Technically, if #6 is repeat step 1, then #7 is repeat step 2, and so on. It’s a closed loop success model. You’re pretty much writing articles in circles.

Is this a trick question?

Number seven? Discover something new.

For me it is to consider the world around me, how I fit in, and what I can write to express that. I write to post my articles but I mostly write them for me. Its a way of defining myself.

I LOVE the book, “How To Be Like Leonardo da Vinci”. It asks you to define yourself.

When Lance posted at the beginning of this year that his goal was to discover things he didn’t know before and write about them? Not a quote…I can’t remember exactly how he wrote it, but the idea was to ‘discover new things’. I remembered that book when I read what he wrote and thought, “Well yeah, I want to do that too, discover new things.”

#7 Have a no-brainer free giveaway on your site so that people will give you their name and email address in exchange for your giveaway. This will build your list very quickly.

If you said #7 has anything to do with having a quality landing page; You’re on the right track.

For most people, getting relevant traffic or leads is the 1st step… Then converting a percentage of that traffic allows you to continue investing in article writing to keep the cycle continuing.

Love is like a red red rose
article writing is magical prose
as many as we want do you suppose
free marketing they propose
love in turmoil a bump on the nose
advice a plenty, don;t stub your toes
marketing galore, now everyone knows
lots of articles with yeses and no’s

Good job Chris and as usual the EzineArticles team are on their toes!

I think besides quality landing page, an excellent author bio is needed too.

No point in getting vistors to read your articles but they never click to visit your website after that.

A good CTR for your author resource box is important. Don’t make your effort gone to waste! :)

Its not so easy to retrieve traffic. Yes, I do not know which traffic you are talking about here. I hope you are talking about relevant targeted traffic but not like other companies who promise to get traffic for article webpages and give just Bots traffic from expired websites. In fact, ezine article is very nice than other, I get most of the time very nice traffic always for my articles. BTW, thanks for this opprotunity.

Combine #’a 1 and 2, make number 3, number two, ditch 4 and 5, make number 6 number three.

Use this KISS method to save time and make more articles, thanks. bye.
