It seems to me that the more practical and useful information you write about, the more traffic you send.

I genuinely enjoy writing articles and sharing “how-to” information with other entrepreneurs. I hope that my experiences, research, and advice will help others move faster along the learning curve.

Content is very important as your readers will know if you are insincere and just writing articles for clicks. If your article is not helpful and informative, your readers probably won’t click your links to see what else you have to offer. On the other hand as Dave mentioned, if you appear knowledgeable, professional, and genuine, readers will come back for more information from you whether it is from eZine Articles or your own website or blog.

I agree with Lance, “content theives” are a great help in making our articles viral. We have to remember that not everyone can write original material – maybe they don’t have the time, skills, or inclination to do so.

That is what eZine Articles is all about – providing quality content for blogs, newsletters, and ezines. As long as I am given proper credit, I am all about sharing!

One note for authors: Set up an account on Google Alerts for the author name you use here at eZine Articles. You will be notified when your name appears on new blog posts or websites. Google Alerts is a great way to see who is using your articles. Once you figure out who is using your articles, you can network directly with those people and discover all kinds of opportunities to promote yourself or earn money. (Examples – guest blog posts with links back to your sites, paid blogging positions, content writing, invitations to private groups or forums for networking, etc.)

I went to your blog site and see that you have it well monetized with affiliate links throughtout. This is where the money is made.

As you write articles rich with good content you begin to be seen as a expert in your field. When people search for an expert on the subject of weddings and your articles appear at the top of the search engines you will get more traffic.

As that traffic count increases and as people become confident in your understanding of wedding planning, they will feel confident to purchase those things that you recommend.

That thought in mind, I do want to caution you that you need to be careful about who you become an affiliate for. You will quickly loose your customers confidence by linking to “not so good” affiliate programs faster than you will win them with good programs.

So … keep writing and watch your sales go up!
