Every (4) years, you get the gift of an ‘extra’ day. Today is that day, Leap Year. What are you going to do with this gift of an extra 24 hours today that you didn’t have for the past 3 years?

You could fill your day with article writing and marketing activities, or you could just sit back and be entertained:

Today is a “FREE” day… What will you do with it?

Hi Chris!

(Here I am, early today, leaving my regular comment.)

Very funny tradition! I didn’t know that. The leap year is not known here in Greece as the year when women can ask a man to marry them and was not known in Brazil when I used to live there.
Women that belong to countries with different traditions don’t have this day! I like the idea, though. Very interesting…
I belong to the classic generation. We simply wait for the men’s first move.

Now, about having an extra day, I don’t feel today is really a gift.
Today is not a holiday…

However, if we think about this matter having a philosophical attitude, we really must appreciate the fact that we have a day we would not have if this year was not different from the common ones.

Thank you for reminding us that we shall notice the gift we are receiving today!
