Contest Winner- Brandi Cummings

This was an extremely difficult contest to judge as almost every single entry (over 70 of them) was a winner.

I had our Editorial Team Leader select two editors to do the honor of choosing a winner: Editor #13 (female) and Editor #15 (male). They were given the task to choose a winner that exemplifies an ideal EzineArticles expert author.

Her selected article wasn’t the best ideal article when compared to other contest entries, but she did meet the requirements of an ideal author having her author photo uploaded and Brandi submits original content. What tipped the scales in her favor was the thought she put into her entry and her follow up blog entry (Article Marketing: What Is Success?) - We admit it… We like it when our members blog positively about EzineArticles.com. Third Runner Up: EzineArticles Expert Author Danick Buskermolen [Australia]

We liked Danick because of her excitement for having received over 500 views to her article (The Anatomy Of An Upset) - in a day and time when large scale members are touting tens, hundreds of thousands and millions of article views, it’s good to see the newbie excitement over small successes that lead to bigger successes. We wished Danick had her author photo uploaded… Hint Hint. :)

An article has to fulfil many requirements in order to be considered an ideal article, as well as an author has to be really qualified to be considered an ideal one.

Of course I didn’t expect to be a winner because 2007 was my first year in article writing, but next year I want to really be one of the best authors.
I’m going to read carefully the winners’ articles and follow their example.
