Fastest Growing Business Categories

Every day we alert tens of thousands of permission-based email members whenever new articles are available in a category that matches their interests.

In the business categories, the average list growth rate is 13.8% month over month…but (4) business categories have had break-out growth rates and I thought you might be able to benefit by knowing what’s currently in hottest demand:

At first, I thought the list growth was only because the categories were brand new in February, but we haven’t promoted them since February, which means April growth over March should be statistically valid enough to spot a trend not relating to the focused attention in February… unless the trend is that we should give focused attention on various categories to drive new subscriptions.

The last category, Venture Capital, was added in October of last year so it’s hardly new. Lowest categories of subscription growth interest was the general business category (0%), Marketing-Direct (3.3%), PR (4.4%) and Advertising (6.4%).

All together as part of the EzineArticles marketing system, we’re mailing 5,422 people daily to alert them to new business related articles.

Maybe the General Category ought to have all those articles sub-divided into other Biz Categories now that there are more and many of those articles in the General Category are now more relevant to a sub-cat? Indeed you maybe able to create two more categories from that and fill them also up with 100 articles. To allow the reader to home in and the authors to catch their Ideal Customers as they close their eyes and imagine what that might be?

I agreed 100% with him. I would like to submit a busines related article, but it does not quite fit into this categorie.

So I guess I’ll have to fit it in another business category.
