John V. W. HoweI was watching the morning news before heading into work, enjoying a cup of coffee after letting the dogs out and a story came on about Baby Boomers and their changing lifestyles as they grow older. So when I was searching for an author to Spotlight this week and came upon John V. W. Howe, who’s bio reads “and has recently started several web sites to help Boomers (baby boomers) become entrepreneurs when they retire”, I figured it had to be a sign. So besides this little bit of kismet, I also thought John did an excellent job with his extended author bio and this article in particular:

Publish Your Own eZine Without A Website

…jumped out at me as this question is sent in quite a bit by authors who want to start an ezine &/or submit articles but don’t have a website. Here’s another good, thorough article on a topic which we receive many questions on as well:

Really Simple Syndication – RSS

If you’re a person that is looking for information on Entrepreneurialism I would also suggest his Ezine or website, good information for pretty much anyone no matter what age.

Ya know, Chris, sometimes you just share the niftiest info on this site. It’s always a real blessing to come here and read with my ezinearticles.com mug full of coffee! (or hot tea as the case happens to be today) I’m all about learning something new and gaining new networking opportunities and you always manage to supercede the last one!

Besides, it’s my birthday and I’m celebrating and just enjoying the brownies WAY too much - this sugar high I’ve got going already keeps me rambling on.

I’m definitely checking out this John guy!!! Thanks for the Blog post and keeping us all connected and Networking for better business development.

[btw, Wally, our Managing Editor, gets the credit for doing today’s Author Spotlight]

Jan,

First of all, happy birthday!! Enjoy those brownies. I’m one who loves chocolate also.

While the debatable topics seem to receive the most comments here on the blog, you are so right that it is the entries like this one that offer the most in teaching, and learning.

I love the choices that Chris and his staff make, choosing authors and articles that will appeal to a wide variety of people.

Thanks to Wally for this wonderful choice.

Oh, and if you have leftover brownies, send em over!!

Ooops — I should have read the fine print… Sorry Wally, I hate it when I give credit to the wrong person…

Come on over Audrey, the kids will make more brownies later (I’m not supposed to know they’re planning a party). But they do it every year…

I love birthdays!

Hi,

I look forward to read John’s articles.

He is a great example of why you should post a pic with your biography.

Just looking at his kind and smiling face makes me want to trust him :)

Chris,
You sent me an email regarding some article writing help, and I lost it, could you res-send it to me?

Wally,

I love your spotlight picks. John’s informative articles can read like how - to or operator manuals. No fooling around. Everything goes to the point promised in the title. If I can’t use the solid information he offers at the moment, I know where to get it in the futire and I’ve subscribed to his eZine so I won’t forget where that good info is.
