Jim,

For clarification... The author photo at the bottom of your articles has nothing to do with your professional author photo/image gallery.

The author photo included at the bottom of your articles is the main author photo you've got setup.

The author professional photo/image gallery is only linked up on your extended author bio page.

Sorry, the answer to your question at this time is no.

We have different logos for different businesses and can see using this feature to increase website/business reputation. Is it possible to have more than one photo at the bottom of each article or are we still limited to just one?

This feature has possibilities beyond narcissism.

Rose,

Anything you own the copyright to or the right to photograph that is positive in nature.

ie: We assume you have the permission of the folks in the photo to be included in it. Provided the photo's don't attract complaints, we're ok with them.

Hi Chris, thanks for the interesting new feature...

I just have one quick question do photos have to be of people, or a single person or would we be able to have other pictures like the office of the company we work at, group staff photos, staff at work etc.

Thanks

Lance,

This is not for use in ARTICLES.

The strategy is only for an extended author bio.

There is no short-term plans to allow images in articles because of our desire to stay with a lowest common denominator format for the syndicatable article.

Keith,

Excellent use of this new feature! Looking forward to seeing your professional photos & images.

Steve,

The benefit is that you can share more of yourself with a reader of your profile.

Think of this as a "Professional" image library. Imagine uploading 6-12 professional photos of various professional photos of yourself (different suits, different poses with or without props relating to your expertise), etc...

...then, along comes someone who wants to interview you or reprint your article and they are looking for an author photo or a series of author photos that will best match their website. You can point them to your EzineArticles Professional Author Photo/Image Archive and they can select the one that best fits their need.

Saves you time, gives more confidence to publishers who are looking to add an image with the article...but, one note: The 12 photos are copyright owned by you and are not designed to be syndicated or reprinted without your permission.

Pamela,

Thanks! :-)

This is a great idea! For those of us who have more than one business venture, accompanying photos to match each venture is exciting. Pictures make more of an impact on readers, giving them a sense of connection to what we profess to be doing. A picture is worth a thousand words. Way to go ezine article staff! :-)

Chris,

Wow, I love this idea...I could use photos of me bike racing, or in yoga poses for my articles on those topics and more serious ones for serious articles.

This will even more personalize the authors to the views/publishers and make us more professinal in the process.

My partner and Ezine author & co-author Michael Conrad Kelley and I are actually in the process of preparing our PR photos, so the timing couldn't be better.

Thanks for thinking of it.

Quick question; Can the authors choose which photo would go with which article? Is that what you are thinking here?

Or are you simply adding life to the website by allowing people to uplink images or photos along with articles?

Another question; I have many drawings, which go with my articles, would one be able to change or select a different photo based on the content of the article, like they can choose different Bylines or is that stretching what you are trying to do here?

Can I put my photos and drawings online and then when corresponding to others by email send them to the photo link, which goes with the subject matter?

This feature seems rather COOL and it has so many possibilities. Do you know where you are going to take it yet? Or what you wish to do with it?
