Same day turnaround is the goal.

We're working on building a scheduled release feature as we learn more about how our authors/members are more time-sensitive about *WHEN* their press release is released.

It'll take us all of August to work out the kinks...

Hi Chris,

What is the turn around time for press releases? I submitted one last week but haven't heard anything as of yet. I think that PressExposure.com is a good idea as long as the spammy-salesy stuff is kept away.

I appreciate all that you do to maintain article directory integrity.

Regards,
Matt Keegan

An article can never be a press release and vice versa.

An article is educational by-nature and a press release is a newsworthy story by-nature.

Over the next few weeks, we're going to mold PressExposure into making the Press Release format more evident... and less like an article.

I had been pondering what PressExposure.com's uniqueness or USP would be. For now, it'll have to be that it was designed by guys who come from an article syndication background. In most cases, we have completely resisted checking out other PR sites so that the end product we delivered would be unique to us.

It should be noted that PressExposure.com is not a primary focus. Product line extension, yes.

I must say I am EXTREMELY impressed with the number of categories to target the articles and press releases with. It would seem that this will indeed bring even more people onto the expanding NETWORK of EzineArticles.com as there are so many different uses of articles on the Internet and for print media as well.

I do have one question and that would be, can an article ever be both a press release and an Ezine Article or are the press releases not to be duplicated as articles and used on both websites?

One other question, are you challenging all the online articles to fill up those categories? If so, should online article authors make this a secondary priority when it fits? Thank you.
