Indeed you will see many of the Home Improvement TV Shows will use products donated for the show and they always disclose it. You can do the same thing without taking away from the article and you really should be thinking here. Stay above board as it is the best for all concerned. There is a write way and a wrong way. I think you may need to be careful about this stuff. There are so many laws often people inadvertantly break them unknowingly doing something that seems like a perfectly honest idea.
