Ann Zuccardy – Author Spotlight

I’ve been meaning to mention EzineArticles Expert Author Ann Zuccardy for almost a year now…

It was thanks to Dina’s AMM (Article Marketing Mania) Ryze group that I learned more about Ann.

What earns Ann the “Author Spotlight” of the week is her consistency as an article writer and her colorful/positive and upbeat tone within her articles. According to her blog, she calls her writing style, “a dash of juicy food commentary, sprinkled with a dollop of compassionate irreverence by Ann Zuccardy…”

Recently I was talking to one of the other founders of the “Wild Women Entrepreneurs” and who did I find as I was scrolling down the short-list of founders? Yep, Ann Zuccardy.

Zuccardy as an author is very reflective of many of the women authors within our site…Entreprenurial, risk-taking, and always looking for ways to do what she/they love to do while supporting herself/themselves. When Ann’s daughter was a toddler in 1996 she started Vermont Shortbread Company, a choice that allowed her to stay at home with her daughter but at the same time gave her a means to support herself while doing something she loved. Be sure to check out her recent articles.

Congratulations Ann, on earning this week’s spotlight. I just selected 3 of Ann’s articles to read and it should be required reading for most of the writers who publish here and elsewhere. Ann’s article list is my new reading list. Keep it up, sister!

Ann writes:

Hi Chris, What a lovely surprise to find this in my inbox (it’s belated birthday present), thank you! This really amps up my energy to pump out more articles. There’s no doubt in my mind that article marketing has contributed hugely to my web traffic. I’m spending a lot of time in my local (Vermont) networking groups talking about it…it’s amazing how little people really know about the creative ways they can market their businesses and gain industry credibility on a shoestring budget. I have an appointment to talk with a local small business owner next week to educate him and help him with frugal guerilla marketing. And the best part is…this is FUN!

Thanks for all the great info and inspiration you provide here. And thanks to our friend, Dina Giolitto, for turning me onto

Congratulations Ann! Your writing tone is warm and conversational yet informative and inviting. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into some of your shortbread. I need to double-check to be sure you ship to Rochester, NY. It will make wonderful gifts for family and friends…AND I am looking forward to reading ALL of your articles. :-)

Article marketing is the ideal way to market a gourmet product like Ann’s because the keyword potential is enormous… and I do agree, Ann’s open-minded, creative, curious approach and terrific personality are the recipe for her success for sure!

(Err… couldn’t resist tossing in some food wordplay there.)
