, 21k Writers?

Today in the postal mail junk bin, I received a flyer from where they claimed they have 21,000 writers just waiting and looking for work.

2 Questions:

Have you ever hired someone via to write articles for you? If so, what was the experience?

Have you ever sold your web content creation or ghostwriting services via If so, what was your experience like?

No, I haven’t sold any content or ghostwriting services through, but I would like to sell my services through someone. Do you have any suggestions?

I registered with Guru in June and have used their services sporadically since.

Generally, the companies or individuals listing opportunities on Guru are bottom feeders. What I mean by that is this: they want well written articles and aren’t willing to pay for it! Try 5 bucks an article. Try getting real!!

I have had some good clients with Guru, so they aren’t a total loss. Still, most of my work has come through my own site and by people who marvel at the 500 plus articles I have posted on

I have been using for the past month or so. I have had good luck so far and met some interesting and talented free lance writers. I am not a “bottom feeder” and some of the writers I have hired make very good money for their work. Some less experienced writers are bargains.
