Plagiarism DefinedRate This Post: A quick English lesson for those who email us: “Plagersim” is not a word. Plagiarism is the correct way to spell the word you were thinking of. Other ways you can spell “Plagiarism” includes: plagiarise, plagiarizing, or plagiarization/plagiarisation (the act of doing the evil), plagiarist (one who does the evil), plagiaries (groups that do evil) and plagiaristic (adjective that describes a plagiarist). We have a ZERO tolerance for plagiarism here at EzineArticles.com and will aid copyright owners to defend their works. Plagiarism is illegal, not to mention stupid, uncreative, and lame.

Many new faces since last month, eh? Including some of Don’s controversial articles.
Email Status updateRate This Post: To help drive traffic to your articles, last month we sent 99,747 emails to 5,022 permission-based email list members who are on 222 of our private new article daily announcement lists. This is compared to 131,142 emails delivered in October to 4,414 members, many who were on our real-time lists. I’m happy to see the increase in total members this month and even the decrease in total deliveries is a good thing (because it means a higher degree of targeting is happening due to a migration from 20 lists to 222 total lists).

Statistically Improbable WordsRate This Post: A new feature that displays the top 5 Statistically Improbable Keywords for each article has been added. These are words that repeat themselves over and over again within an article minus common meaningless words (we call these “stop words”). You can find this feature by going to any article and clicking on the EZINEPUBLISHER link in the upper right corner of the article tools. Random Example: Take article: Are Liquid Vitamins Enough?, and click on the EzinePublisher link in the upper right corner of the article. We then deliver you this information:
That means the word “foods” shows up 3% of the time in this article, “acrylamide” shows up 2% of the time and so forth. You could call our Statistically Improbable Keywords feature the same as evaluating what the keyword density is of an article.
