Hello,

One my main marketing site, the percentage of Firefox visitors is about 23%. Now that google has worked firefox referrals as part of their
adsense system, I expect this number to do
nothing but climb.

I'm already taken a look at my sites to make
sure they look fine to firefox visitors and
I suggest whoever reads this to do the same
or it could result in a sharp drop in sales.

If the writer is aware of the differences between IE and Firefox, it makes sense to keep an eye open for resources that stumble with IE. When citing same, a footnote can bring it to the attention of the reader and refer the reader to an informational post on the writer's website.

TRAFFIC! Every unique user is a new opportunity.

Display of knowledge! A plus...

This positions the writer as a friendly sort who will go the extra mile to help the reader.

Lance,

The only way I can see an author taking advantage of this information is by using the FireFox v1.5 browser if they are not yet.

Our site is already optimized for both MSIE and FireFox.

A question about this data I have is; Can you think of how a writer can take advantage of this data? Other than write articles about browsers, which might attract these folks to read our articles? I certainly find this information fascinating as it shows real-time dynamics of how the Internet is evolving. Does this information affect the 15,000 writers on this site in any way? Do we need to modify our articles? Would you say it is more relevant to the Ezine Editors who send out information? How might they consider this? Would you say this data is relevant in that most of the writers have their own websites and need to think on this with regards to their own website formatting.
