New Membership Level

I’ve been thinking for the past few days that we should have a new membership level called “BASIC PLUS” that allows 25 submissions.

This would be for authors that have not earned Platinum, but used up their first 10 submissions.

Common reasons why a person would be upgraded from BASIC or demoted from Platinum Unlimited to BASIC PLUS would include:

– Sending in ‘thin’ content,
– Failing to follow the editorial guidelines,
– Sending in too many articles with active or inactive affiliate links,
– Or too many spelling/grammar/punctuation problems.

I’m reluctant to keep on giving out Platinum Unlimited Memberships just because the first 10 submissions were used up…and this might be another way we could RAISE THE BAR. …

Yes, the QUALITY BAR NEEDS RAISING. :-)

What do you think?

Excellent idea! Except what would an author have to do to get to platinum status?

Ed,

Same thing that a Basic level member would need to do:

FOLLOW THE POSTED EDITORIAL GUIDELINES.

I agree that there should be a step in between.
I have to admit I have not used my first 10 (up to 7 now), but that is mainly because I want to make sure that anything I submit is of high quality.
I would rather be a ‘basic plus’ or whatever you
wish to call the level above Expert before achieving ‘platinum’ and knowing that when I do
reach it, it will be well earned.

Quality articles are what make the difference and I have already proudly been displaying that I am merely an ‘expert’ at EzineArticles.com

Here’s to all of our success,
Xavier
