XML instead of URL
Here’s another first this week:
An author wants to put a URL to his .XML based RSS feed instead of a normal URL in the resource box.
We’re going to allow it but it’s probably highly confusing to the 97%+ that have no idea what an RSS feed or XML is. When ~97% of our audience clicks on these links, it’s going to come up with a bunch of garbage code.
Therefore, my recommendation: Don’t put your RSS feed URL in your resource box as the greater majority of your audience is going to think you’re stupid for putting a bunch of code up instead of a web page to surf.
