Great idea, seriously. I’m a super fan of personal branding and this is a great way to help authors spread their expertise and create a loyal following in a similar way to having a blog (a good combination really!).

Unless you had a script for every newsfeeder out there that will add all 7000+ RSS feeds in an automated way, then I would NEVER sign up. If I like an author’s work, I would be more likely searching for RSS feeds at his/her own blog or other search engines.

It would be nice to have an RSS feed that you can attach a search engine query though.
Same feed but you can add any amount of times, maybe by author, or by topic or other keywords…. Just like the google alerts I think, if that makes sense.
