1,669 Forwards

In the month of April, 1,669 articles were forwarded through our system to friends or family.

Only 2 authors had to be privately reprimanded for using the system to spam themselves to artificially increase their rank.

Yes, we do monitor 100% of what floats through our system even though that is difficult sometimes to keep up with the float. :)

Forward To A Friend Trivia: We ban over 70 known swear phrases from our forward to a friend system…and no, I can’t share the list of known bad words. I’m sure we didn’t catch them all, but our goal was to lower the chances of our system being abused.

Also new last month: Authors can promote their articles within their membership system. It’s still in beta yet, but we’re working the bugs out yet.

I have a question, not that I would send or forward an email to any friends with swear words, but it is a private email? What difference does it make. They are not an employee and privacy etiquette should apply? Additionally if someone wants their rankings of most emailed to go up? And they cheat by emailing themselves or friends, they still are dealing with their own issues. I do not understand the importance of being the most emailed article? Is there an award for it? Does it prove something? Judging by the titles of the articles most emailed it seems to be a very telling sign of the pathetic human race or our degrading society more than anything else. If those are the types of articles one writes and the topics they discuss to sell something, then perhaps they have an inferior product or service and have to resort to such>? I would like to hear defense of those who write these articles as to why it is they feel it appropriate? Might be an interesting and heated discussion?
