Translation: Stop writing 1000 word articles and chop it in half to produce (2) separate 500 word articles.

I took your advice, WOW. I had some 10, 15 and 20 page articles and with a little tweaking was able to break them down into 1-2 pages each. Meaning these three particular articles ended up 8, 10 and 16 articles total. Three huge articles, which no one would have ever read were broken down into 34 bite size articles on EzineArticles.com of those and it has only been a few weeks. I have seen 6 on the internet on various websites and one on a radio station in Alaska that serves all of Alaska? The Polar Bears will love me now. Cool beans. Alaska? Not bad for a Southern CAL guy. This EzineArticles.com is way too cool for me. Alaska Radio Station? Read on the Air and on their website and Ezine? Gotta love it.

Anyway without getting too carried away here you are right about the shorter articles. Once they get over a few pages your chances of them getting picked up drop off dramatically. Short, sweet to the point. Remember too the average attention span of the ezine “internet clicking” reader these days, give me the information, make it quick, gotta go….Seee YA! I’ll call you?

I believe you have a good point. I am among those guilty of writing long winded boring articles that most people these days in the age of information flood have no time to read.
I think short, sweet and direct articles will be more impactful and better.
