.dot Credibility

Some authors try to send in optimized article text designed to beat spam filters when their articles are picked up and sent to an ezine publishers list.

My theory on the idea: You destroy your credibility for the chance of increased deliverability.

My suggestion: Don’t ruin your reputation to improve the chance at higher email deliveries when your article is picked up and sent to the list. You’ll get a higher ROI from the audience that trusts and respects you than sub-consciously questions why you put a dot in the word f.ree.

Do you agree or disagree and why?

I received an e-zine yesterday that had these dots in certain of the words and had no idea why until I saw this in your blog. Live an learn as they say.

I found them very irritating as I hate poor spelling and punctuation.
