Most people who read ezine articles want something short, sweet, and to the point. In addition, I enjoy sharing articles with others, and will only use other folks shorter articles on my website, using a link back to their website. My clients have said, "I don't have time to read lengthy articles." Lengthy articles to them are over 500 words. Personally, I enjoy reading an article that is 250 - 400 words.
