Article Clues

Recently several authors have been sending in articles without any website addresses / URLs in their resource box. Frankly, I don’t get it. Getting a link back to your website is the PAYOFF for submitting an article and I want to encourage everyone to put (1) URL of yours in your RESOURCE BOX.

Dead Give Away

Wanna know what the dead give-away when reading articles written by people where English is their 2nd language?

They often don’t punctuate correctly and put a space BEFORE the period.

Example: My cat fluffy is a nice cat .

This is what it should be: My cat fluffy is a nice cat.

If English is a second language to you, please keep your punctuation tight to the end of each sentence and the commas are tight to the word they are separating.

Rate Simplification

Effective today, we’ve eliminated our 5-7 different rate plans and consolidated them all down to ONE premium membership plan:

The Platinum Membership plan allows you to send 5 articles in every 30 days for only $47 per month. You can cancel at any time.

Life is complicated enough to have to choose from too many membership plans, so I hope you like the easier-to-understand new rate structure.

+5 Articles Day

Hi Authors!

Today is +5 day.

For the month of December 2004 only, we have incremented every registered members account by +5.

That means you can send in 5 more articles immediately…but there is a catch: You have to send in your 5 bonus articles within the next 30 days or less.

We’re doing this as a test to see if giving everyone 5 article submissions when they become a free basic member has any impact on the number of monthly conversions to our Platinum premium membership level.

Email Alerts

Thought I’d update everyone on our progress. Today, we now have over 1,000 people receiving our real-time new article email alerts and have sent over 250 alerts in the first two weeks of launching this free service.

My goal is to reach 10,000 members for our free new article email alerts by the end of the year…but the goal is probably a bit agressive. :) I figured it is better to swing for the fences.
